It's Saturday! Yay! I LOVE Saturdays. It is my one and only day in the week that I can wake up and have infinite possibilities of things to do and accomplish. Unfortunately my number one item on today's list was to sleep in and that didn't happen. You see, I leave my house at 7:00 a.m. every morning to get to work on time. Sundays I have church at 9:00 and to get 4 girls ready and out the door the process starts around 7. Every other Saturday when my girls are at their dads house I get to sleep in. Or rather, I should say try. I look forward to this day all week. The problem is that my body is so used to waking up at 5:30 a.m. that it happens naturally. Today when I opened my eyes it was 5:27 a.m. I tried, oh believe me I tried, to go back to sleep but it was no use. I did take a steaming hot bath for a little which was nice but I couldn't stay in there forever. Anyway, I'm rambling here, my point is that even though I didn't accomplish my favorite thing on the list I am going to try and pack as much as I can into today. I thought it would be kind of interesting to see how much I can actually get done.
*Clean my house top to bottom (yeah, this is usually on my list of things to do but I have a bad habit of reading too many books and right now my house is really, really gross. I would DIE if anyone came over and saw it like this.)
*Sew Maegan's bedskirt
*Make peach/raspberry freezer jam
*Mow my back yard
*Update my personal blog
*Paint my toenails
*Learn a couple more measures of Clair De Lune on the piano
*Go to the grocery store
*Go to the mall (for what I don't know but I just have an itch I'd like to scratch I guess)
*Go to Robert's to get supplies for my card group and craft club
*Make a sample of the October craft club craft
*Make something fallish for my front door.
*Check out the dollar store for ideas for the girls' annual Halloween party
*Organize my amazingly large collection of electrical cables
*Find fabric for curtains I want to make in family room & my bedroom
*Cook dinner (and not tell my kids to eat what they can find, this sometimes happens when I'm busy. Bad mom!)
*NOT drink too much Mt. Dew because it's only 8:00 a.m. and my eyes are already burning because I'm tired.
I'll keep everyone posted on the results!
